I recently sang with Millennial Choirs and Orchestras a phrase written by Ralph Waldo Emerson, sank deep in my soul, "Spirit, that made those heroes dare, to die and leave their children free." I've pondered those words a lot, is freedom worth dying for? Have we had freedom so long we have forgotten its value, and the price that has been paid? Abinadi was killed for sharing the eternal truth of repentance, the miraculous power it has to change. Only one listened, generations were changed, peace and joy prevailed. Was it worth it? Seek truth, it has the power to heal the impossible, miracles come when you move closer to the truth. I have witnessed it over and over in my life!
